Written in the early 1590's RICHARD III was Shakespeare's first
blockbuster hit and one of his most violent plays. The Bard's most
famous villain hews his hunchbacked way to a bloody climax. He
schemes, plots, twists and murders to obtain the throne. But can the
King others call a "bunchbacked toad" and a "bottled spider" keep the
crown from slipping through his blood soaked fingers? A political
